THE TREVI WARRANTY 

Trevi products are covered by our Manufacturer-Installer Warranty. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective part or item. The term of the warranty varies depending on the item: it is generally one year, but certain items are covered for a longer term. For example, pump motors and pool structures are guaranteed for 3 years and pool robots for 30 months.

The warranty is valid only when the item is used under normal operating conditions, according to the operating instructions. Packages should be opened as soon as they are received, in the presence of the delivery person.

STRUCTURE:
"Structure" refers to components such as posts, rails and seats (borders), top and bottom plates. Trevi agrees, at its discretion, to replace or repair any structure damaged to the point it can no longer be used.

WALL:
This warranty covers any perforation caused by rust or oxydation. Piscines Trevi agrees, at its discretion, to replace or repair any part which is damaged to the point it can no longer be used. Not covered by the warranty are scratches and discoloration.

LINER:
The liner is guaranteed for ten (10) years, commencing on December 31 following the date of installation, or the date of purchase if the liner is not installed by a technician from Piscine Trevi, and applies to the retail price suggested by Trevi at the time of replacement, less depreciation. In the event the liner is installed by a Trevi technician, labour is included in the warranty for a period of two (2) years, commencing December 31, following the date of installation, at 100% depreciation, against any manufacturing or installation defects under normal conditions of use.

Piscine Trevi agrees, at its discretion, to replace or repair any liner whose joints have come apart without tearing. If a problem is found, the purchaser must provide Trevi, or its authorized distributor, with the identification seal found on the back of the pool liner, so that Piscines Trevi can verify the claim and establish whether it is covered by the clauses of this warranty.

PARTS AND PIPES:
Parts and pipes are guaranteed for two (2) years, commencing December 31 following the date of installation, without depreciation. During this period, the purchaser must ensure that the pool is winterized by Piscines Trevi's technicians or according to its recommendations. Joint covers, yellowing or discoloration are not covered. In the event of damage during transport, breakage, or any other harm, the customer should note his comments on the delivery order, send a registered letter to the carrier within 48 hours and send us a copy. For recourse, by virtue of the warranty, the customer is asked to telephone us before returning any merchandise.

The cost of returning merchandise shall be paid by the customer. TREVI disclaims responsibility in the event the customer misuses its products, particularly if the electrical connection of the equipment is poorly performed by the customer or his electrician, if the pump is not filled before being turned on or if the above- or in-ground pool installation standards are not respected.
